Archaeological excavations, the Minoan palace of Malia,
East of the modern resort, the remnants of the Minoan Palace of Malia. This was the third largest Minoan palace in Crete, built when the time on a beautiful spot by the sea to the road that connects eastern and central Crete.
This was the palace, where the myth Sarpidon, the brother of Minos lived.
